Routes and locations
Glowbs live in darker natural areas and can be fed Cardboard as part of their resource interaction and side quest.
Dark cave-like areas
Search shaded and subterranean terrain for the glowing creature.
Cardboard Munchies
The creature-request quest asks the player to bring Cardboard to a hungry Glowb.
Open related entry →- Carry Cardboard separately from structural materials.
- Mark the route back out of dark areas.
- Do not block the creature with a vehicle while interacting.

Cardboard Is the Currency
Glowbs convert Cardboard Blocks into Glow. Bring a deliberate cardboard stack—not your entire building inventory—and feed where the creature can path without clipping into terrain or a parked hull.
Feed in Reachable Water, Not a Trap Cove
Drop cardboard where the Glowb can approach freely. Narrow rock pockets and vehicle wedges pin the creature and waste cardboard. After it eats enough, collect Glow immediately so waves or current do not hide the product.
- Clear Totebots or other hostiles before the feed run.
- Feed piece by piece until timing and pathing are obvious.
- Mark the exit from dark caves before you commit a large stack.
Glow Belongs With Battery Ingredients
Treat Glow as an electrical/chemical input, not a decorative dump item. Store it beside Battery ingredients and Chemicals so Craftbot sessions do not stall while you dig through building crates.
Dark-Area Navigation
Many Glowb sightings sit in low-light terrain. Carry Glowsticks or vehicle lights, keep a return bearing, and do not block the creature with a boat or drill while interacting. Getting lost after a successful feed wastes the trip.
Quest Feed Versus Production Feed
A one-time quest ask needs a small cardboard delivery. Ongoing Battery production needs a renewable cardboard source and a repeatable water stop. Do not overbuild a permanent pen until you know you need Glow every session.
