Routes and locations
Wocs roam grassy farming areas and can be kept near a base when a renewable milk supply is useful.
Meadows and fields
Look for Wocs grazing in open agricultural terrain.
Player-built pen
A controlled pen can keep a nearby Woc accessible without blocking vehicles or crops.
- Feed Corn to receive Woc Milk.
- Build enough space that the animal does not jam a gate.
- The Heart of Corn and Home is Where the Woc Is quests also feature Wocs.
Woc recipes and properties
- Interaction
- Feed Corn → collect Woc Milk
- Pen design
- Open enough to avoid gate jams
- Raid note
- Keep pens off primary bot approach lanes
- Storage
- Milk with cooking inputs, not building blocks
Corn In, Milk Out
The Woc loop is simple: present Corn, wait for the eat interaction, collect Woc Milk. Carry only the Corn you intend to feed so you do not spill seed-chest inventory into the animal area by mistake.
Build a Calm Feeding Pocket
Wocs need space more than architecture. A quiet meadow edge or modest pen beats a maze of logic gates. Keep spinning bearings, vehicle wheels, and active thrusters away from the feeding spot so the animal is not trapped or clipped by machinery.
- Leave gate clearance wide enough for the Woc and the player.
- Do not park the hauler inside the pen overnight.
- Collect Milk before starting a nearby raid defense.
Route Corn Without Mixing Seed Lines
Corn for Wocs competes with other farm logistics only if storage is messy. Label a Corn crate for animal feed and keep tomato, potato, and high-value seeds elsewhere. Automation that dumps all produce into one vacuum line will starve the Milk loop.
- Stage Corn beside the pen, not beside the Spudgun ammo chest.
- Feed, collect Milk, then restock Corn from the labeled crate.
- Move Milk to the cooking / quest storage area in one trip.
Quest Context Without Overbuilding
Farmer-line quests featuring Wocs reward a working feed loop, not a decorative zoo. Complete the Milk interaction reliably before expanding pens into a theme park that blocks crop watering paths.
Protect the Animal From Raid Spillover
Hostile bots do not care that a Woc is passive. Place pens behind the defense line or far enough from the raid radius that pitchfork swings and Tapebot shots do not turn a Milk stop into a rebuild. Reposition after the first raid that clips the fence.
