Before you leave
  • Do not save the Crash Site battery for the Mechanic Station; the station objective marks a second Master Battery.
  • Follow the active quest marker instead of carrying a battery to an unrelated machine.
  • Finish nearby combat before moving the progression object.
  • Do not store it with normal consumable Batteries.

The second objective does not ask you to remove or reuse the crashed-ship battery. Follow the new marker and collect the station battery.

First Battery: Restore the Crashed Ship

Extinguishing the three marked ship fires advances Getting Started to the nearby ruin. Follow the objective and debris trail, take the marked Master Battery, and install it in the crashed ship. This powers the Mini Craftbot and lets the console and Logbook steps continue.

Second Battery: Restore the Mechanic Station

After the Logbook marks the Mechanic Station, the next main objective identifies a separate Master Battery in the station's bunk-room area. Carry that battery to the station control panel. The route is complete when the station accepts power and the Craftbot objective becomes available.

If the Battery Does Not Advance the Objective

  1. Read the active Logbook title: Getting Started targets the crashed ship; The Mechanic Station targets the station panel.
  2. Confirm the battery came from the location marked for that objective.
  3. Carry it to the highlighted socket rather than storing it with normal Batteries.
  4. Let the objective update before leaving the area or beginning another quest interaction.
