How to Get the Connect Tool at the Crash Site
Complete the Water Bucket fire objective, recover the nearby Master Battery, and install it in the crashed ship. Once the ship's Mini Craftbot has power, follow Getting Started and craft the Connect Tool there. Use it on the requested console connection before taking the Logbook and leaving for the Mechanic Station.
How Connections Work
Select the Connect Tool to reveal connection points on interactive parts. Drag from a control part to the part it should operate. The arrows on a completed line show which part sends the signal and which part receives it.
Useful Checks
- Confirm every wheel bearing points in the intended drive direction.
- Read Controller connection numbers before changing a sequence.
- Trace the signal from a Button, Switch, Sensor, or Seat to the final action.
- Disconnect a line before rebuilding a mechanism around a different control.
- Open the Wheel Angle Calculator — Find separate inner and outer limits before entering Level 5 steering-bearing settings.
