How to get it

Routes and locations

Gas Engines are crafted vehicle parts; an early scrap version supports first vehicles before the full upgrade chain.

Craftbot and upgrades

Build and improve the engine as the workshop and Component Kit supply expand.

Before you leave
  • Begin at low power and tune with the normal load present.
  • Carry return-trip Gasoline outside the active fuel supply.
  • Protect the engine without blocking upgrade access.

Reaching Level 5 costs 28 Component Kits in total. Higher power settings change available torque; test the setting again after every upgrade and load change.

Set Power for the Vehicle You Have

More engine power is not always more control. Begin at a low setting, test the unloaded chassis, then increase one step at a time after storage and tools are mounted.

Each level adds two bearing connections and increases the available power range, torque, and work per unit of Gasoline. Upgrade only when the current connection limit or loaded performance is the real constraint.

  • Connect only the bearings that should provide drive.
  • Reverse incorrect wheel direction with the Connect Tool.
  • Reduce power when acceleration causes rolling or wheel spin.
