Read the Signal Chain

Most machines are easier to debug as a chain: an input such as a seat, switch, button, or sensor activates logic or a controller, which then drives an engine, bearing, piston, thruster, pump, or other output. Use the Connect Tool to inspect that chain one step at a time.

Test Parts Safely

  • Raise the creation on the Lift before testing powered wheels, saws, drills, or steering.
  • Start with low engine power and short controller movements.
  • Check bearing direction, controller rotation, and input state before adding cargo.
