How Bearings Work

A Bearing creates a rotating connection between its base and the object attached to its moving side. Wheels use bearings to spin, while steering assemblies use them to change angle.

Bearings are locked while the creation is on the Lift. Remove the Lift before judging whether a joint moves correctly under physics.

Control Options

  • Connect an engine when the bearing should provide continuous driven rotation.
  • Connect a Driver's Seat when the bearing should respond to steering input.
  • Connect a Controller when the bearing needs a programmed angle or sequence.
  • Use the Connect Tool to inspect and reverse a connected bearing direction.

Common Build Mistakes

  • Attaching the moving body to the wrong face of the bearing.
  • Testing while the creation is still locked on the Lift.
  • Reversing one wheel or steering joint and not checking the connection arrows.
