The Input Material Chooses the Wedge

Sawbot does not apply one universal wedge material. Insert a building block and it produces wedge geometry from that same material, which lets a finished build keep its intended weight, durability, and surface family.

Because the station occupies 9 × 7 × 5 blocks, reserve a floor bay and an unobstructed interaction side before paying the Mining Hub cost.

Use Wedges Deliberately

  • Prototype the slope with a cheaper material before cutting expensive final blocks.
  • Match vehicle body wedges to the frame material when mass and durability matter.
  • Keep a labeled chest for each wedge material instead of mixing visually similar outputs.
