How to get it

Routes and locations

Farmbots are dangerous heavy enemies found in the world and higher-threat farm encounters.

Method / location

Agricultural world areas

Watch large open fields and industrial farming terrain for patrols.

Method / location

High-threat raids

Valuable or extensive farms can escalate into encounters with heavier bots.

Before you leave
  • Fight from prepared terrain with a reliable ranged weapon.
  • Their drops support high-level crafting and progression.
  • Do not lead one directly into storage and crop rows.

Spud Shotgun has falloff at long range. Close-range full hits are the most ammo-efficient Farmbot kill.

Farmbots can destroy low-durability blocks simply by walking over them. Metal Block 3 is the practical defense ceiling.

Budget Potatoes Before You Pull

Farmbot is an ammunition problem as much as an aiming problem. Spudgun needs about 54 shots at 28 damage; Shotgun needs roughly 24 full close-range hits; Spudling needs about 75 chunks. Count the potatoes on the vehicle before the pull, and keep a separate escape reserve.

  • Prefer Spud Shotgun only when you can stay in full-damage range.
  • Do not empty the base defense chest into one Warehouse run.
  • Mountable Spudguns share the 28-damage profile—plan container capacity accordingly.

Pesticide Is Why Standing Still Fails

Kick and swipe hurt, but the pesticide DoT punishes players who plant themselves behind a thin wall and trade hits. Keep moving laterally, break line of spray when possible, and heal between engagements instead of finishing the fight on empty stamina and food.

Warehouse Key Is the Real Loot

Every Farmbot drops a Warehouse Key. Component Kits and Circuit Boards are valuable extras, but the key unlocks the Warehouse progression loop. Secure the key immediately after the kill—do not leave it on the ground while looting secondary bots.

Metal Block 3 Is the Practical Shell

Farmbots destroy soft shells by walking and melee. Durability 1–3 breaks every time; higher tiers improve odds, but Metal Block 3 is the community practical ceiling for serious Farmbot-facing walls. Wood vanity walls belong behind that shell, not in front of it.

  1. Build a kill lane that keeps the Farmbot off crop soil.
  2. Leave a kite path that does not dead-end into your own vehicle.
  3. Recover the key and ammo before repairing cosmetic damage.

Disengage Rules That Save Vehicles

A light buggy dies to one bad corner. If the Farmbot reaches the hauler, abandon the DPS race and extract the vehicle first. A failed Farmbot fight with a lost cargo truck costs more than waiting for another encounter with a full potato loadout.
