One weighted result is selected for an accepted hit. Potato and energy rewards can use variable quantities.

Rapid Fire Wastes Hits

Lootbot accepts one point of damage, starts a 40-tick cooldown, and ignores further damage until that window ends. Spamming shots can spend ammunition without advancing the fourteen-point sequence or producing another reward.

  • Land one hit, watch the drop, then time the next hit.
  • Use open terrain so the fleeing route stays visible.
  • Collect rewards without stepping directly into the bot's escape line.

Hit Rewards and Death Rewards Are Different

The regular hit pool mixes useful materials, crops, energy items, and junk. The default raid death reward is a separate choice between ten Broccoli and ten Pineapples. Special encounters can replace that final reward with an outfit-package table.

Use the Crop Result Correctly

Lootbot releases produce, not seeds. A Tomato reward can feed Cookbot recipes or storage, but it does not replace a Tomato Seedbot when the objective is to expand the planting stock.

  1. Move produce into the harvest or Cookbot chest.
  2. Move Component Kits, Batteries, and Gasoline into workshop storage.
  3. Keep any Seedbot drops in a separate planting chest.

Why Lootbot Counts as Neutral

Its movement logic looks for nearby players and flees; it does not create a melee or ranged attack. The chase is an optional resource decision, not a defensive emergency, so clear hostile bots before spending time on the reward sequence.
