Scannerbot

The large roaming missile platform often called the Seeker Bot by players; normal projectiles, melee, explosions, collisions, and crushing do not reduce it.

Seeker Bot and Scannerbot Refer to the Same Search

Players commonly call this roaming missile encounter the Seeker Bot. The current unit and manager names use Scannerbot. Keeping both names on the page helps identify the same threat without inventing a separate enemy.

Why the Health-Bar Strategy Fails

Projectile and melee impacts play a no-progress response, while explosion, collision, and crush handlers do not apply damage. There is no normal health loop to burn down, so emptying a potato chest into the body does not solve the event.

Read the Missile Cycle

The attack sequence uses twelve launch positions. Early shots carry wider target offsets; later cycles tighten the spread. Players are sorted ahead of other character targets, so nearby Wocs do not make a dependable shield.

  • Move before the hatch sequence finishes.
  • Use solid terrain with more than one exit.
  • Do not stop beside a loaded vehicle or animal pen.

Build for Escape, Not Turret Damage

A compact scout with protected fuel, clear Lift points, and a low center of mass is more useful here than a stationary damage platform. The vehicle should cross uneven ground without trapping the driver in one predictable line.
