Value 15 Without Banana’s Crate Story

Chili matches Banana at calculator value 15, so raid math treats them as peers. Seed acquisition and cooking goals differ—chili is a 1.0 addition, not the old carrot-crate fruit ladder. Do not assume banana logistics automatically apply.

Mid-Tier Spike, Not Starter Garnish

Fifteen points per plant means a short chili row outpaces a large tomato field. Players who plant chili because “new crop” often meet raid budgets their hammer-and-scrap walls cannot hold. Check the Raid Calculator first.

  • Add chili only after carrot/tomato defense is boringly reliable.
  • Keep spare Chili Seeds outside the active plot.
  • Replant lower-value crops if a chili experiment overshoots the intended raid level.

Verify Grow Timing In-Client

Community grow-time dumps cover the classic set through pineapple; chili is called out as a 1.0 crop whose exact real-minute cycle should be confirmed live. Time one plant from water to harvest before scheduling multi-row automation.

  1. Plant a single chili beside a known 21-minute tomato control row.
  2. Note watering ticks and ripe time in real minutes.
  3. Scale rows only after the timing note is written down.

Raid-Pressure Framing Versus Food Ambition

Grow chili when the produce or cooking goal is explicit. If the only reason is seed availability, plant tomatoes or potatoes instead. Chili’s job on a prepared farm is controlled mid-tier value—not background decoration.

Sit Between Banana and Blueberry Decisions

At 15, chili is the same raid weight as banana and far below blueberry’s 50. Use it to practice mid-tier nights without jumping to berry-scale budgets—or swap one-for-one with bananas when recipe needs change but plant value must stay flat.

Chili: Which Bot Actually Matters?

Chili Seedbot carries the matching seed type. Seedbots flee instead of attacking; damage can release matching seeds and destroying one releases an additional matching bundle. Not in the regular hit or default raid reward pools.

Cookbot does not grow or harvest Chili. Its current use for this crop is: Not used by the three current Cookbot recipes. Plan Chili around its own progression and raid pressure, not Cookbot demand.

  • Use a Vacuum Pump creation for planting or harvesting; that is a player-built machine, not an autonomous farm bot.
  • Check the Raid Calculator before scaling the field, because crop count and crop value change the attacking wave.
  • Keep seeds, harvest produce, and Cookbot ingredients in separate labeled containers.
